Yoga is practiced in bare feet so leave your shoes by the front door
Arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to class start time, this allows you to check in and ask any questions or discuss any of your concerns. Arriving early also gives you extra time to settle in, connect with your body and breath and enables you to let go of thoughts and chill out , before beginning your yoga practice, You may wish to do a few warm up stretches, practice a few poses, or just lay down in a resting pose.
Wear exercise clothing that allows you to move freely and comfortably
Avoid wearing strongly scented perfume, creams or oils, some people are allergic
or sensitive
Please turn off mobile phones, or even better leave them at home or outside the yoga room
Come with an empty stomach and remember to hydrate before and after class
Please bring a towel, particularly if you sweat a lot
Yoga mats are available but feel free to bring your own
Yoga is a personal self-study practice; please refrain from chatting to ensure everyone has a chance to focus on his or her body and breath. The teacher is available to assist where needed.
